The Year of the Nurse 2020
This year has been designated the International Year of the Nurse and Midwife by the World Health Association (WHO) and also marks the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth. That's why we are celebrating the important role nurses play at West London NHS Trust.
Ordinary people doing extraordinary things
In GP practices, hospitals, clinics and out and about in the community, West London NHS Trust nurses help patients, the people who use our services and carers. that they encounter.
No two days are the same, each one is filled with new challenges.
More than caring; nursing is a varied profession encompassing a wide range of specialisms with numerous routes into it.
We'd love to hear your story
Perhaps you studied full-time, or returned to practice after a career break. It could have been an experience you had, or an inspirational person that shaped your ambition to become a nurse. Tell us what makes you feel proud to be a nurse.
