We’ve put new rules in place

Due to the continuing need for infection control against Covid-19, please note all visitors to our sites will have their temperature checked and will be asked the following questions:

  • Have you tested positive for Covid-19 or been in close contact with someone who has in the last 14 days?

  • Have you or any close contacts developed any of these symptoms:

    - A high temperature

    - A new continuous cough

    - Loss of or change in smell or taste

  • Have you:

    - recently returned from abroad and are required to quarantine?

    - been contacted in the last 14 days by NHS Test and Trace to inform you that you’ve been in contact with someone who has Covid-19?

If you answer yes to any of these questions, please go home and ring NHS 119.

The Limes

  • As the risk level in London is now rated as ‘High’ (Tier 2), in line with government guidance visits at the Limes will be restricted to exceptional circumstances only. We will keep you informed of any changes.
  • Carers must phone The Limes in advance to make an appointment and due to current heightened restrictions, will be informed if they may visit and of the PPE measures in place.

  • Visiting is limited to two visitors from the same household.
  • Visits will last just one hour, from 1400 to 1500, seven days per week.
  • Child visits continue to be suspended.

West London Forensic services (WLFS):

Please note, visitors will not be able to enter any of the sites without prior arrangement as they all secure.

Hammersmith & Fulham in-patient unit

  • All visits are pre-booked with the ward staff.
  • A maximum of one visitor allowed per patient.
  • Patients will be allowed 30 minutes visiting time.
  •  We are not currently able to have child visits.
  •  The ground floor canteen will be used for visiting.
  • Temperature checks will be carried out and you will be expected to wear PPE during the visit.

Lakeside mental health unit

  • Visiting hours restricted to Mon-Fri  3-6pm and 7-8pm
  • Weekend visits  2-6pm and 7-8pm 
  • All visits to the unit should be pre-booked with the respective ward.

Jubilee Ward

  • Carers need to phone first. 
  • Visits allowed at the discretion of the ward team based on potential risk to other patients.
  •  If a visit is authorised there will be strict requirements around advance health checks, social distancing and use of personal protective equipment.

  • Visits are limited to two people at a time, for up to one hour only.

  • All non-essential visits have been cancelled until further notice.
