Chiew Yin Jones has been appointed as a non-executive director to the Trust Board, having served as a NEXT  Director and an associate non-executive director at the Trust for the previous 17 months.

Yin is a barrister with over 25 years' experience in criminal justice and is an experienced advocate with a substantial casework and litigation background. She also sits as a Legally Qualified Chair on Police Misconduct Panels in London and the South East region and as a senior member of the Valuation Tribunal for England.

Yin is also an interim non-executive director at St George’s University Hospitals NHS FT and has several other health related roles including being a member of the Patients Voices Group at the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a former trustee of the Cleft Lip and Palate Association.

Commenting on her appointment, Yin said: 

“I’m delighted to be appointed as a non-executive director having worked closely with the Trust for the last 17 months. 

“West London Trust is a really diverse part of the NHS to be involved with as we deliver services in the community, hospitals, specialist clinics and forensic and secure units. I’m looking forward to being a part of the next chapter following the recent appointment of our new Chair, Tom Kibasi, and the well-earned retirement of our current chief executive, Carolyn Regan”.
