West London NHS Trust hosted a crew from ITV News on Thursday 20 January.
They visited Clayponds Hospital to film a TV package for their evening news bulletin.
Clayponds is a 'step-down' and rehab unit for people well enough to leave acute hospital but in need of more care before returning home.
During the package, ITV health editor, Emily Morgan, interviewed Dr Ruben Dutta, clinical lead for integrated care service.
Dr Dutta spoke about how Clayponds is used to help free-up hospital beds by admitting patients not quite ready to be discharged home.
It comes as more than 93 percent of hospital beds are occupied in England.
The TV crew also interviewed James, one of the patients staying at Clayponds, who suffered a fall and as a result needed a hip operation several weeks ago. He moved to the Clayponds facility for his rehabilitation before he will return home soon.
Clayponds is part of Ealing Community Partners.
It has around 70 beds and has looked after more than 600 patients in the last 12 months.
