Community volunteers from West London NHS Trust have been busy fundraising at Morrison’s store in Acton.
As part of the NHS 75 celebrations many corporate organisations partnered with NHS Charities Together to support the occasion, including Morrison’s.
The West London NHS Charity submitted a store pairing request to NHS Charities Together to be considered for a day of fundraising in a local Morrison's store. Over 300 NHS charities across the country submitted requests to NHS Charities Together for a store pairing. With such high demand for places it was great news for the Trust charity to learn they were successful.
Our Community volunteers Beatrice and Manwinder spent the day engaging with customers about the work of the charity. The Morrison's store community champion, Rochelle also supported our amazing volunteers throughout the day with the sale of raffle tickets for a prize hamper up for grabs.
A total of £147.00 was fundraised in store on the day.
