On Friday 1st December 2023, Ealing Community Partners’ clinicians, business leaders and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector partners came together to celebrate success, agree priorities and work together on future plans for enhancing services and developing teams.
The event was held at the Doubletree by Hilton Ealing Hotel and around 70 attendees had the chance to network with their peers and discuss plans for the future. Recognition prizes were also given for key achievements.
After a review of Ealing Community Partners journey since forming in 2019 (focusing particularly on the last year) presentations were given on planned and unplanned care, children’s services, nutrition in the workplace and musculoskeletal care.
Over lunch there were vibrant conversations about collaborations and priorities, with lots of new connections being made. The afternoon began with a wellbeing exercise where Dr Meherangiz Press from the Pain Management Team taught attendees how to use a relaxation technique to manage stress.
Also in the afternoon session was an interactive session where four groups were formed to discuss how best to deliver Ealing Community Partners strategic commitments for the year ahead.
James Davies, Head of Nursing:
“Throughout the conference, we witnessed a remarkable commitment to partnership working across various sectors, fuelled by innovation and sheer hard work. The insightful discussions, shared experiences and collaborative spirit that permeated the sessions were truly inspiring, and in keeping with our vision across Integrated Care Services.”
“It was good to see so many staff members and 3rd sector partners making connections and having enthusiastic conversations about future collaborations and priorities. The energy in the room showed how valuable it is to bring people together to enhance team working and facilitate group discussions. The outputs from the conference will help to further embed our integrated approach to delivering high-quality care services across Ealing.”
