To highlight World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Day 2023 the Hounslow Borough Respiratory Support Group (HBRSG) are hosting a free health and care event on Saturday 18 November, from 10.30am – 3.30pm, St Johns Community Centre, St Johns Road, Isleworth, TW7 6RU.
This event is open to all residents and families living in Hounslow who are impacted by any long-term health conditions, such as COPD and asthma.
The day is being delivered with the support of local NHS health partners and Hounslow Council to create awareness of the health and care services available to residents with respiratory conditions - including a new respiratory service recently launched by West London NHS Trust.
Visitors can benefit from FREE Health checks on the day, plus they have an opportunity to visit various health stalls and learn about Stop Smoking Services, lung health checks, the new Be-friending service, eye health, dementia, and the care support offers available in Hounslow.
Attendees can also enjoy FREE chair yoga exercise classes; delivered in 15-minute bitesize sessions from 11am – 1pm, where they can learn new ways to improve mobility and balance.

There will also be a free raffle and vistors can enjoy complimentary refreshments throughout the day.
