Meera Mistry.jpgWe are delighted to announce that Meera Mistry has been appointed as the Trust’s new Chief Strategy Officer. 

Meera is currently Director of Strategy and Integration at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust (CNWL). Prior to this, she was the Programme Director for the North West London Mental Health Partnership Programme, a joint role across West London NHS Trust and CNWL. She has held several leadership roles in areas covering integration and partnerships, business and transformation and programmes and holds a MSc in Computer Science. 

The Chief Strategy Officer is a newly established leadership role within the Trust that will be responsible for strategy development, transformation, partnerships and digital. In this role, Meera will lead on the transformation and strategy development of the organisation’s local community and mental health services and specialist, high secure and forensic services. A key component of the role will involve working with system partners to ensure the Trust’s strategic direction aligns with priorities nationally, across North West London, and with the Trust’s provider collaborative partners. 

Meera said: “Having already worked closely with colleagues at West London for many years, I’m incredibly pleased to now be joining the Trust in this new role which will allow me to build upon the organisation’s many recent achievements and improvements. 
“I look forward to strengthening the relationships we have with our partners across North West London and nationally, to ensure that we can deliver upon our strategic ambitions and create the best outcomes for our patients, service users, staff and the wider communities that we serve.”

Maria O’Brien, Chief Executive of West London NHS Trust, said: “The Trust has experienced significant growth and development in recent years, underpinned by a commitment to working in an increasingly collaborative manner with wider health and social care partners.  

“The Chief Strategy Officer will play a critical role in driving the development of our organisational strategy and partnership arrangements. Meera’s extensive experience in this area, coupled with her enthusiasm, will be of great benefit to the Trust and will ensure that our vision becomes a reality.”

Meera is expected to join the Trust in the early 2025.
