The world we live in is changing rapidly and so is healthcare. This means we need to adapt and change but not lose our values. If we want to continue to meet the needs of our local population we need to think differently about what we do and how we do it.
Getting this right is why we need a new strategy for the next 5 years and why we're seeking views from local people and stakeholders.
A new strategy for 2022-27
Our strategy will set out how we do this and address some of the really important challenges, like workforce, tackling health inequalities and making sure the people that receive services from us get the best possible care and support. We also want West London Trust to be a great place to work, with an open and collaborative culture and a place where a job can become a career.
Our 2022-27 Trust Strategy will set out this vision, our priorities and how we will work with other partners within NWL and beyond to make this a reality.
The priorities we are seeking your views are:
In developing our draft priorities, we have considered the progress we have made since our last strategy update, and the impact of the pandemic, and have also done a lot of work engaging with our service users, our communities, our staff and our partners.
Building on our existing strategy we have listened to users, our staff, communities and our partners as well as thinking about how national plans and policies will influence and affect what we do
• We will lead and collaborate to ensure the best outcomes and experiences for patients, and carers
• We will co-produce and deliver high-quality, responsive care, tackling inequalities and focusing on the needs of our vulnerable and at-risk communities
• We will attract, develop, support, and retain talented, committed people, promoting an open, fair culture
• We will embed a culture which promotes and supports innovation.
• We aim to be an outstanding provider and partner.
Have your say
To do this we need your help, your input, and your ideas. To get involved complete our survey or contact WL.TrustStrategy@westlondon.nhs.uk.
