Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) from West London NHS Trust will be showcasing their work at an upcoming event hosted by Capital AHP.
CapitalAHP is an initiative run by NHS England aimed at supporting AHPs across the London region.
The event will be focusing on workforce and education, sharing recent innovations, success stories and projects at a regional level.
After a competitive selection process, the Trust’s AHP international recruitment programme and Perinatal Mental Health Service were chosen to showcase the work they’ve been doing.
Congratulations to Krupa Patel and Darshita Patel respectively for their work on these applications.
Coming off the back of being shortlisted for a Chief AHP Officers Award, the AHP International Recruitment team will be sharing their innovative work via a rapid 5-minute online presentation followed by Q&A.
It will showcase how the team significantly reduced vacancies, supported and retained staff with dynamic pastoral support, contributing towards inclusive leadership and the goal of delivering high quality patient care.
The Perinatal Mental Health team will be showcasing ‘growing their own- the volunteers project and workforce development and growth'.
This poster presentation will highlight the journey of embedding the volunteer pathway into the service, highlighting the unique experiences the volunteers have brought to the team and the workforce growth and retention as a result.
The judges were impressed by the standard and impact of both submissions and are excited to hear more detail about the projects on the day, as are we.
Presentations will be electronically displayed during the event.
The event will be taking place on Tuesday 17 September 2024 from 2pm to 4.30pm in London.
