We are thrilled to celebrate the graduation of our amazing Choices Colleges supported interns.
The Trust has hosted Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) students from Choices College for the last four years and this year saw a further 10 students complete their programme.
This incredible group of SEND students, supported by Annette Lafitte and Beth Boothe, have made a remarkable impact during their time with us, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievements.
Here’s what they’ve achieved….
- From the moment they joined us, these interns have demonstrated exceptional skills, dedication, and a fresh perspective.
- Their contributions have been invaluable, not only in the tasks they performed but in the way they have changed attitudes and fostered a more inclusive West London NHS Trust
- Working alongside these talented individuals has shown us the tremendous benefits of providing meaningful work and life experiences to all members of our community.
- Their presence has made us a better, more understanding place to work.
Ali Webster, Deputy Director of Organisational Development said: "As they move forward to new opportunities, I also want to extend our thanks to our fantastic mentors and Choices Colleges team. Hearing the differences you made to these students was touching and inspiring.
"Thank you to all the departments who offered their services and support in providing placement opportunities to students."
This year we hosted placements in Learning and Development, our apprenticeship Team, library, PMVA, Health and Wellbeing, Trust Gym and Health at Work.
