We are delighted to announce David Cochrane, Head of Forensic Social Work, has been awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in His Majesty the King’s New Year honours list in recognition for his services to Health and Social Care. He was nominated by Leeanne McGee Chief Operating Officer High Secure and Forensic Services and colleagues at the Department for Health and Social Care.
David is being recognised for his commitment to his patients while working in Forensic and High Secure Services, one of the most challenging and complex NHS environments. The patient and carer experience has always been at the forefront of his work.
He has made notable contributions to leadership of these services and has always had a keen eye in the evaluation of care, human factors/ergonomics and learning lessons.
