West London NHS Trust is pleased to announce its new respiratory service in Hounslow.

This marks the launch of the Trust's first physical healthcare service in the borough.

The service will support service users with pulmonary rehabilitation, home oxygen assessments and reviews, chest physiotherapy and specialist nurse support for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients discharged from hospital.

Dr Claire Dillon, Director of Integrated Community Health Services, said: "We are delighted to announce that we have launched the Hounslow Respiratory Service.

“We have worked collaboratively with the North West London Integrated Care Board (ICB) and the previous provider to ensure a smooth transition for all patients and look forward to providing an outstanding service to this group of Hounslow patients.

“This new service extends our established expertise in delivering physical healthcare services across Ealing and in Hammersmith and Fulham, into the borough of Hounslow, where we're a core member of the Borough Based Partnership.

“The service covers a broad range of interventions including home oxygen, pulmonary rehabilitation, physiotherapy and case management.

“We look forward to working alongside colleagues in Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare, Primary Care and third sector organisations to support the current patients and population more broadly."

Referrals for the service will be accepted from primary care and acute hospitals.

All referrals should be made via wlm-tr.hounslowrespiratory@nhs.net.

You can contact the service by calling 07484 913 795.

It can be found at the Heart of Hounslow. The address is 92 Bath Road, Hounslow, TW3 3EL.
