Best For You, our young people’s mental health programme has been shortlisted for a HSJ Digital Award in the ‘Improving Mental Health through Digital’ category.

The AI and Digital Health Ability Passport Program has been shortlisted for a HSJ Digital Award in the ‘Digital Equality, Diversity and Inclusion‘ category.

Best For You is run in partnership with Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, West London NHS Trust, and CW+. With evaluation by academic experts at Imperial College.

Dr Johan Redelinghuys, Clinical Director - Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), West London NHS Trust said:

Since its launch in 2021, Best For You has reached over 200,000 people through its website, YouTube, and social media, bringing together specialist information and tried-and-tested digital resources to provide 24/7 support for young people.

The programme also connects organisations across the NHS and beyond, working with over 75 community partners to provide information, early intervention, and support while young people wait for NHS care.

AI and Digital Health Ability Passport program 

The AI and Digital Health Ability Passport program is an innovative initiative that uses AI to enhance workplace accessibility and inclusion for staff with disabilities, highlighting the Trust's commitment to innovation.

Notable program achievements: 

  • Disabled staff representation increased from 6.95% in 2023 to 7.32% in 2024.
  • In clinical roles, disabled headcount increased by 21.6% (from 218 to 265).
  • In senior clinical roles (Bands 8a-8b), disabled representation increased by 14.3%.
