We're delighted to share that the Trust has a total of seven staff shortlisted for awards at this year's Royal College of Psychiatrists London Division Awards.
The awards celebrate excellence in mental health care provision in the London region.
There are a number of awards aimed at psychiatrists and trainee psychiatrists, Speciality and Specialist Doctors (SAS Doctors), mental health care teams, patients and carers and medical students.
Last year, the Trust won an amazing four awards including Educator of the Year, Higher Trainee of the Year, SAS Doctor of the Year and Psychiatrist of the Year.
Dr Suhana Ahmed, Chair of the London Division of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, said: "The London Division would like to thank all those who made a nomination this year. The standard was extremely high and the judges had an exceptionally difficult job to shortlist each category. It is fantastic and rewarding to see the amazing work being undertaken in mental health care services in London."

- Medical Student of the Year - Dr VarshaKrishnan
- Higher Trainee of the Year - Dr Wala Salman
- Patient/carer contributor of the year - Fahima Abdi
- Psychiatrist of the Year - Dr Christopher Bench, Dr Sachin Patel,
- SAS Doctor of the Year - Dr Nilufar Majid,
- Educator of the Year - Dr Daniel Andrews
