We are pleased to confirm that West London NHS Trust became the new provider of all adult and children’s community services in Hounslow on 1 July 2024.
This follows the recent announcement about the transfer of these services from Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH).
We would like to welcome all staff who have now moved to West London NHS Trust. Services will continue to be delivered in the same way, and patients will not experience any changes as a result of the transfer. Further information about this can be found on the HRCH website.
GPs and healthcare professionals can view information about these services on our Hounslow Community Healthcare webpages.
Bringing services into West London NHS Trust will enable residents in Hounslow to benefit from enhanced integrated care, with physical and mental health benefits being delivered alongside one another, mirroring developments in our other Boroughs in recent years.
Maria O’Brien, Chief Executive Officer, said: “We been a provider of a growing number of community healthcare and primary care services in Ealing and Hammersmith and Fulham since 2015. The addition of our new Hounslow Community Healthcare services marks a step-change for the Trust, by firmly establishing our position as a leading provider of integrated care.
“I’m incredibly grateful to HRCH colleagues, who have worked closely with us to ensure a smooth and safe transition of services and staff, and look forward to strengthening the Trust’s partnership working in Hounslow.”
Claire Dillon, Director of Integrated Community Health Services, said:
“Community services play a vital role in the NHS, providing care and support for patients, carers and families at every stage of life.
“I’m delighted to welcome Hounslow Community Healthcare services to the Trust, and look forward to working together with staff, patients and partners to deliver exceptional community healthcare to Hounslow residents.”
