West London NHS Trust (WLT) is pleased to announce the appointment of three
new non-executive directors to its Board.

Stephen Marston, Harry Quilter-Pinner and David Stout join the Board, bringing with them a wealth of experience from across the NHS, Civil Service and higher education and charity sectors.

Stephen Marston served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Gloucestershire from 2011 to 2023. Prior to this, he held a number of roles in the Civil Service, including as Director General for Universities and Skills in the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills. Stephen will chair WLT’s People Committee reporting to the Trust Board and the Strategic People Committee reporting to the Trust’s Board-in-Common.

Harry Quilter-Pinner is currently interim executive director at IPPR. Prior to this, Harry was director of policy and politics at IPPR, heading up the charity’s research, policy and influencing work in Westminster. He has previously worked as director of strategy at SCT, a homelessness and addictions charity, Global Counsel, a consultancy firm, and at the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO). Harry will chair WLT’s Service Transformation Committee reporting to the Trust Board.

David Stout has had a long career in the NHS, with a number of senior roles including Chief Executive of Newham Primary Care Trust, Chief Executive of Shropshire Community Health Services NHS Trust and Deputy Chief Executive of the NHS Confederation. He is currently a Trustee of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges and a member of the Independent Reconfiguration Panel. David will chair WLT’s Finance and Performance Committee reporting to the Trust Board.
