his World Mental Health Day (Tuesday 10 October) the Wellbeing & Recovery College will be hosting an open day and discussion at Brentford Community Sports Trust.

The open day will take place from 11am to 2pm and visitors will be shown around, given the opportunity to ask questions, and register if they wish.

There will also be taster sessions including breathing/grounding, drumming and stress management courses.

This will be followed by a panel discussion from 2pm to 4pm with a range of experts discussing the theme of this year’s World Mental Health Day – ‘Mental Health is a Universal Human Right’.

Gail Dearing, Associate Director of Community and Recovery Mental Health Services at West London NHS Trust said: “The open day and discussions, featuring experts and interactive taster sessions, invite everyone to engage in meaningful conversations and explore holistic approaches to mental well-being. Join us in this collective effort; attend for a glimpse or stay for the full journey. Let us come together to make mental health a priority.”
