Over two hundred West London NHS Trust staff descended on Syon House on Friday 30 September for the annual Quality Awards.
The theme this year was #WestFest, festival style, with a marquee erected at the historic site in Brentford. The wet weather did little to dampen spirits with staff stepping out in their glad rags.
The Trust's annual Quality Awards gives the opportunity to recognise and celebrate the outstanding work of staff from a range of services.
Coming from all corners of the Trust map, there was some great representation from #TeamWestLondonNHS.
Staff were treated to a drinks reception and mouth-watering food, which included truffle mac 'n' cheese, beef brisket and pulled lamb. There were also glitter artists, an acoustic trio providing some toe-tapping ambience, and a photo booth which staff took full advantage of.
This year the ceremony was presented by none other than the Trust's CEO, Carolyn Regan, who welcomed and thanked the Trust charity for their generous support of the event, the event sponsors and the Communications and Workforce teams for their organisation of the event, before moving into the ceremony itself.
Carolyn said: "Thank you to everyone who has made tonight such a memorable event. We hope our staff have enjoyed themselves and thank all the excellent nominees and winners for making such a bold contribution to our Trust. I feel very proud to be working alongside you all and have heard lots of amazing stories this evening."
This year was also the last Quality Awards attended by outgoing Trust chairman, Tom Hayhoe. Tom said:
"What a great occasion. I've been to many Quality Awards since I joined the trust in 2015 and it was fabulous this year to be able to celebrate face to face with everyone once again. Thank you to everyone who has helped to co-ordinate such a fantastic event. I’m sad that this will be my last one as Chairman, as I always love the opportunity to celebrate the great work that goes on at the Trust!"
The night came to a close in true West London fashion, with the DJ turning up the music and staff getting their groove on, on the dancefloor.
Thank you to everyone who attended and supported this event this year's event. We especially thank our stakeholders, sponsors - RSM UK, West London Trust Charity and Capsticks - and volunteers who helped make the evening a success.
Congratulations to all the winners and nominees. Find out what their colleagues had to say about them here.
