Congratulations to the Trust's Limes Team on their recent shortlisting for Team of the Year at the Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) Awards!
Attended by nearly 200 people the event was organised by the NHS England London HCSW Programme team. The awards are dedicated to honouring the remarkable contributions, dedication, and professionalism shown by HCSWs, teams, and Trusts in London as they play a pivotal role in the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Over 200 nominations were received to recognise Healthcare Support Workers, teams, and NHS Trusts for awards in 9 categories. The Limes, a specialist care unit for older people with mental health problems and those with dementia, was a finalist in the 'Team of the Year' category.
At the event, winners were announced and awards were presented which showcased HCSW Programme achievements and celebrated the successes of London Trusts. Despite not securing a victory, the team relished the day, describing it as an enlightening event. They thoroughly enjoyed engaging with staff from other Trusts, and exchanging ideas, and found it to be a rewarding experience.
