The Trust's joint sustainability team recently met the Chief Strategy Officer for NHS England.
Chris Hopson was invited to Parson’s Green health centre by our sustainability partner Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH), to see some of the remarkable work the sustainability team have been leading on to help meet the NHS’s net zero target.
It has been almost a year since the partnership between the two Trusts was launched with work well underway to make our healthcare service more greener and sustainable.

Paul Aylin, Non-Executive Director - West London NHS Trust and Chair of the Trust sustainability committee, also attended the visit to discuss the advantages of the West London and CLCH sustainability partnership, a unique collaborative working model between the two Trusts.
Paul said: "We are very pleased to have formed a partnership for environmental sustainability with CLCH. The visit from Chris Hopson has been an opportunity to show how working together puts us in a much stronger position to tackle the net zero challenge through pooling of resources and sharing of best practice."
The joint sustainability team is led by Tom Wright, Director of Sustainability who added: “It was a pleasure to welcome Chris Hopson, the NHS Chief Strategy Officer, to visit our sustainability team for the day.”
