Wednesday 15 November is World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Day and to mark the occasion, Ealing Pulmonary Rehabilitation team is holding the following public awareness events to reach out to the community.
- Ealing Hospital Foyer from 9.30-11.30 am.
- Greenford Tesco, Greenford Road from 1-3 pm.
The aim is to raise awareness, share knowledge and discuss ways to reduce the burden of COPD. As part of the events we will be promoting Ealing Pulmonary Rehabilitation service which is part of Ealing Community Partners, and these events will help create awareness to the public and clinical staff about COPD, provide leaflets, discuss with patients, encourage clinicians to offer appropriate treatment and care and improve the lives of those with COPD.
