Our tissue viability service in Ealing aims to help you look after complex and problematic wounds. We focus in particular on preventing and treating pressure ulcers and leg ulcers.
We work closely with you, your GP, district nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide you with care and support.
If you’re referred to us, one of our specialist nurses will assess your wound.
They will advise:
- You how best to look after your wound
- Other professionals involved in your care.
The tissue viability nurse may see you only once, or they may arrange a follow up visit depending on what you need.
If you need more support or advice after you have been seen by our service, your nurse or doctor can refer you again. You can also contact the service directly if you have any problems or concerns about your wound.
We provide care across Ealing, including in:
- Your home
- Clayponds Hospital
- Clinics
- Nursing and residential homes.
We accept referrals from GPs and other healthcare professionals. Please call us for more information on 0208 383 5462.
